A Week of Summer

Monday

The golden light paints upon the first hour a gaze. Sunset’s beginning days.

Tuesday

Aromas of life!
In its prime, fully blooming, June roses smell of wine.

Wednesday

The night hour’s approach,
the daylight seems to reproach. 9 o’clock’s golden hour.

Thursday

Warmth burns my brown hair. Heated drops of sweat on my cheek, stifling fire fury.

Friday

Mid-year birthdays taste of caramel and sea salt. Tangy, candied warmth!

Saturday

Its whistles sound sweet. Ruthless storms come battering, shredding palm tree leaves.

Sunday

Sunday blues of August,
hues in a turquoise-green tint. Gradients of youth.
