moon to earth

noisier than the perfect alignment / of chattering night skies / are your withering elegant murmurs / burning the space between dimming lights / addressing the study of destructed fear / unveiling an unceremonious end / and mourning the horizon that will stop appearing / the craters that have formed / through your body / darkening the hues that were bright enough / for me to find you / became an unsteady artery / painting you as if the casket was / consumed by what you once were / I will find a way to hear your echo / flickering through the plotted stars / that failed our bodies / perhaps after the lights burn out.

Earth to Moon

I only see lunar disorientation / formation of faithfully empty pieces of you / hollowed bones of / expectation / how do I find your glow when structures were formed and / cradle the space between us / traffic beyond what we understand / mimicking the lights that I wish upon / am I wishing to the same forces of my destruction? / to bubbles of oxygen / unfulfilled with wreckage // I feel my mind needing rest // do not stare at me / as I crumble to sorrows / how do you glisten so loudly / when the mirrors around you / work to fade your call / I look at you and wonder / if the creations of your craters hurt you too / how long until I become / the image I have of you / will I remain beautiful too?
